Wanted: Harmony needs a Lawyer - I need a Loan

Hello Friends and Neighbors, My sons have always been each other's safety net. They are 34 & 35 yrs old. They have often been my safety net.

Unfortunately, Tragedy has struck them all at the same time. Each son has his own separate legal issue and because Harmony's Dad failed to perceive the severity of his situation, and didn't tell his MAMA, Harmony is now in the care of a stranger. Mid January there is a hearing that will make her temporary emergency living situation into a more permanent guardianship. I cannot permit this. The thought makes me shake. Harmony needs to be with family. She needs to be with me.

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Student Services, the Director exercises administrative direction over the college’s library, audiovisual equipment and materials, Interactive Video over TV(NCIH), the (Virtual) Student Success Center, Curriculum placement test lab and other functions associated with the Library. The Director is also responsible for planning, setting goals and objectives, supervising personnel, establishing policies and procedures, and developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring programs and services offered through the department. The position requires occasional evening and weekend work.
Education: Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a library setting.
Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills to effectively communicate with students, staff, faculty, and the general public. Strong organizational and management skills. Computer skills to include proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, and the ability to learn the college’s database system. Must be able to learn to provide maintenance to A/V equipment. Busy non-profit focused on serving children is looking for a part time experienced, passionate and creative cook/kitchen tech to plan weekly menus and prepare one healthy and tasty meal each weekday that school is in session for 150 children, grades Kindergarten through Eight.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., with additional hours every Wednesday morning, every other Friday, one Monday evening per month and an occasional Tuesday or Thursday morning.

Will also be responsible for leading and directing weekly food pickup efforts and for keeping retail partners and Feed America records to ensure that the program meets or exceeds all objectives specified in grant requirements.

Organizational skills, a clean driving record, and a clean background check are required. The ability to maintain client confidentiality is imperative.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Library Services, the Evening Library Technician works in all
areas of the Library and oversees the library functions in the absence of the Director. The Evening Library
Technician assumes responsibility for activities that take place in the library during evening hours to meet
the needs of faculty, staff, students, and community patrons. The Evening Library Technician must be able
to work some weekends and attend required workshops and trainings, which may include some out-oftown
travel. The Evening Library Technician is a part-time permanent position, with a maximum of 25
hours per week.

Education: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required. Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) preferred
Experience: A minimum of one-year experience in a library setting.
