Amazing Grace - Sat Jan 28 2017 Old Theater
The motion picture, Amazing Grace comes to the Old Theater screen Saturday January 28 2017 at 7p. Amazing Grace is the story of William Wilberforce and the events which led to the abolition of slavery in England. Ioan Gruffudd stars as Wilberforce, Benedict Cumberbatch as William Pitt, and Albert Finney as John Newton.
The story also includes the origin of the spiritual song, Amazing Grace. The film was rated Four Stars by the New York Observer, and “A Must-See” by O Magazine. This “Dollar Movie Night” is Sponsored by The Sound, a “church without walls” based in Oriental. Popcorn included. Doors open at 6:30.
