Quality of life. Quantity of life. Much as we’d like to think they go hand in hand, the two don’t always. Physican Atul Gawande tackled that in his best-selling book, Being Mortal. A PBS Frontline film followed, and on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 7p, Being Mortal will be shown at Oriental’s Old Theater.

A moderated discussion will follow, touching on how to live fully thru the process of dying. Doors open 6:30p. The event is free and presented by Vidant Health.
