How would you pitch Oriental to people from away? Oriental’s Tourism Board will hold a Branding Workshop on Thursday August 2 from 9-11:30a. The meeting, originally set to take place at the River Neuse Suites Hotel, Room 106 has been moved to the parish hall of the First Baptist Church, across Broad Street from Oriental’s Town Hall.
Carol Mabe will conduct this special workshop meeting, the point of which, says the Tourism Board, is “to boil all the many and wonderful things that are Oriental down to five words.” (or fewer) It is open to the public.
