Coast Guard Aux Boating Skills & Seamanship - Apr 3, 2018Oriental Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 20-03 is offering a Boating Skills and Seamanship Course beginning April 3, 2018 at the Station 19 firehouse on Straight Road in Oriental. Classes will meet from 6:30 to 9:15 PM on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting Thursday the 3rd and running until April 19th.
This is the most complete course on boating that the Coast Guard Auxiliary offers and will satisfy the North Carolina regulation for those people required to be certified in a safety class. Completion of this course will generally result in a savings for boat insurance.
Cost for the course is $40 per person or $55 for two sharing a book. Registration is required in advance and can be made by contacting Bob Webster at 252-249-2426 or baldbuzzard@embarqmail.com.
