  • The Village Gallery’s guest artist for February 2018 is Debbie Boyle, whose work will be on display through the month. Debbie is primarily an acrylic and watercolor artist and has taught art to children and adults. The Edenton resident cites Oriental artist Jean Dexter as her favorite mentor, for encouraging her to “tell her stories” through art. She says Joe Cox’s critique classes at NCSU influenced her as well. Lately, she has explored non-representational abstracts.
