The Oriental Dinghy Club’s 2016 Dragon’s Breath Regatta is set for Aug 5 – 7, with race headquarters at Oriental Marina and Inn. This is ODC’s premier event of the year.
Three racing classes: Spinnaker, Non-spinnaker and Cruising. ODC encourages all sailors to come out and enjoy a day around the buoys. You should register now, but entries will be accepted up to 0730 on Friday August 5 with a late payment fee.
Racing on the Neuse River off of Oriental Saturday and Sunday. Continental breakfast served both mornings 7:30a – 8:30a at the Tiki Bar. Skipper’s meeting Saturday morning 8:00a at the Tiki Bar. Saturday evening an Island Themed dinner with a band, games, and photo booth. Awards Sunday.
