The Friday Flick for May is Blackbeard the Pirate, showing on May 18 at Oriental’s Old Theater. The 1952 movie features Robert Newton as Edward Teach/Blackbeard The story is set in motion when a British Navy officer goes undercover on a privateer’s ship to find evidence of piracy. It is not in short supply. Nor is treachery. Admission is $6 & includes free popcorn. Old Theater Member discount is $1. All proceeds go to support The Old Theater, a non-profit organization. Box Office opens at 6:30p. Doors open at 7p.
