Pamlico Musical Society brings bluegrass band Iron Horse to Oriental’s Old Theater on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 7:30p. The combo from Northern Alabama specializes in putting a bluegrass spin on classic rock and heavy metal songs. That evening concert is sold out but you still have a chance to see and hear them — and even jam with the band.

On Saturday afternoon January 14 at 1:30p, you can hear Iron Horse’s instrumentals and strong harmonies when they play a jam session at Pamlico County Community College in the mall of the Johnson Building. Blue grass jammers and listeners are invited to join in or just take it in. ‘There is no charge. it’s free and made possible through a Pamlico Musical Society Grant from North Carolina Arts Council.
