The Village Gallery features oil painter Janet Jaworski as its guest artist thru July 2017. For over 30 years, Janet worked as a professional graphic designer and commercial art director in New England and then returned to her first love, painting, and studies at the Worcester Art Museum. Janet now lives and paints in NC, drawing on what she describes as “the amazing beauty around here. My husband and I take what we call meanders, poking down a road, going over another hill and waiting a few more moments for the change in light.” Inspired as well by movement and abstract shapes, she’s been creating looser, and more colorful canvases.
