Friends of the Library has extended its October 13 Fall Book Sale through October 26. What’s more, the cost of the books is now $2 per bag — that’s for fiction and nonfiction, mysteries, romance, biographies, children’s books, and classics. Rare and collectible books will be 50% of their listed price. As always, all proceeds go to the support of the Pamlico County Library. For more information, call the library at 745-3515.
