January 2017’s Friday Flick is Mamma Mia – and will be playing on January 20 at Oriental’s Old Theater. The 2008 romantic comedy uses ABBA songs to tell the story of a bride-to-be’s search for her father. Cast includes Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Amanda Seyfried and Christine Baranski. Tickets are $5.50 and go on sale when the box office opens at 6:30p. Popcorn’s free. Showtime is 7:30p. Film will be preceded by another installment in the Flash Gordon series and a cartoon. All proceeds go to benefit the Old Theater.
