The Pamlico Musical Society rounds out its season of concerts at the Old Theater with the Parker Quartet on Friday, April 20, at 7:30p.
Come hear why they’ve won a Grammy for Best Chamber Music Performance and won praise from music writers: “Exceptional virtuosity and imaginative interpretation” (Washington Post) “Something extraordinary” (NYT), “Pinpoint precision and spectacular sense of urgency” (Boston Globe). The Parker Quartet will perform a range of Classical music Mozart’s Quartet in B-flat Major, K.589; Gyorgy Ligeti’s String Quartet No. 1 “Metamorphoses nocturnes;” and Jan Sibelius’ Quartet in D Minor, Op.56 “Voces intimae”
