Pamlico Musical Society presents Svetlana & The Delancey Five on Saturday January 20,2018 at the Old Theater. The NY swing band’s playlist includes 1920s-40s jazz standards and charismatic originals, a showcase for Svetlana’s graceful vocals and the band’s harmonies and instrumental chops. Jazzlive has described them as “very sweet & naughty.” Slip in to the world of the NY jazz club or the secret speakeasy, right on the Old Theater stage. Other upcoming PaMuSo concerts at the Old Theater : Carrie Newcomer Thursday February 8 followed, a month later, by Harpeth Rising on Thursday March 8. Rounding out the 2017-18 season will be the Parker String Quartet performance on Friday April 20. Tix available online.
