At its quarterly workshop meeting on June 1, at 5:30p the Town Board will discuss the draft budget for the fiscal year about to start in July. (There’ll be a public hearing on this on June 6.) For a look at the draft of the General Fund budget, click here.

Also at this meeting, the Board will take comments on the successes and opportunities from the recent CycleNC weekend which brought 1400 cyclists to town. Anyone wishing to speak – whether in praise or to suggest improvements – is encouraged and welcome to do so at this meeting. It takes place in the large conference roomat Town Hall.
