Town Board Retreat / Alcohol @ Town Hall - March 24,2017 Oriental’s Town Board meets for its yearly retreat on Friday March 24, 2017 from 8:30a to approximately 4p. It had originally been scheduled to happen at PCC but has been moved to the large meeting room at Town Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
It is described as a chance for the Board “to discuss priorities for the upcoming budget year.” Also among the items on the schedule is an “alcohol in Town Hall discussion” listed under “Regular Business.That issue was tabled at the Board’s early March meeting; an earlier Town Board rejected an attempt 4 years ago to allow beer and wine at events held at Town Hall.
