Coming Events in Oriental and in and near Pamlico County
The Friends of the Pamlico Library is offering a free “Watercolor in Nature” workshop with instructor Douglas Alvord on Saturday August 11 from 10a-3p. The workshop at the Library will include drawing and basic techniques of water color from 10a-noon, lunch break/discussion from 12-1(please bring your lunch) and painting outdoors from 1-3p. It’s open to all artists (ages 8 and above) regardless of skill level. Children ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult.
