What's Happening
The What’s Happening section covers most everything going on in Oriental, plus key events around Pamlico County and the nearby area. People turn to it as the place to find out what’s going on.
Events are displayed in order of calendar date – for example the events listed at the top of the page are happening soonest.
Ongoing events (meetings held every week or every month) all listed lower in the page after the the one-time events.
You’ll find the next few events on the What’s Happening list also listed as brief headlines on the TownDock.net Home page at the top left – look for “Upcoming Events”.
What gets listed on What’s Happening?
- Plays, concerts & cultural events organized by non-profit groups.
- Exhibits or Events at which the public is not expected to purchase anything, and which do not purchase advertising in other media.
- Benefit sales or gatherings in which all of the profits go to a charitable or non-profit organization.
- TownDock.net Advertisers holding functions and events.
