Marine Weather Forecasts
Marine weather forecasts on TownDock.net are derived from NOAA data. On TownDock.net the forecasts are easy to read – each marine forecast starts with a visual overview at the top – with simple icons showing the wind direction for today and the next several days.
At a glance you can tell the basic marine weather trends, and then read the text for all the details.Marine weather is a key part of life in a coastal community like Oriental. A snapshot of the Pamlico Sound weather is displayed on the top right of the TownDock.net home page and on many pages throughout the site. If there is a Small Craft Advisory or other marine weather warning, that headline (with a link to weather forecast) is automatically displayed on the Home page and weather pages of the site.
Having up to date and easy to read marine weather is a key part of TownDock.net. Forecasts cover the entire NC coast – plus offshore forecasts. You can select other marine weather forecasts on the Marine Weather Menu at the left hand side of the weather pages.
