was it like when the eye passed over? Still cloudy, with
light winds. We spotted a lot of red gas cans adrift from
this view.

Dogs
chase critters - even during hurricanes. Ellen Demko reports
that her dog "Cricket" spotted a rabbit in the
water - and jumped in for the chase shortly after this
photo was taken. Apparantley the rabbit could swim faster.

Jeffrey Sanders of the Triangle Fire Dept was going house
to house Friday on behalf of the county. The county is
collecting information on damage and loss to homes and
businesses to aid in getting FEMA money.
