ome scenes from Saturday’s Silospalooza at the Red Rooster. This 4th Annual had 8 bands, 9 + hours of music . 1 visiting rooster – and uncounted crowings. 6 pizza-eating contestants. And despite the forecast, no rain.

Red II stalked part of the grassy dance floor, occasionally crowing loudly.

The duo, Taking Kindlies played the Red Rooster’s second – and newest stage – aka The Bantam.

It was not a tat competition, though there were several among the pizza-eating contestants. Here, the arm of winner Caleb Forness.

After making many a pizza in the past few years, Silos owner Chris Daniels competed for the first time and used a distinctive technique. Eating the pie’s center first left a ring or large “O” -perhaps a bit of marketing for his soon-to-open second restaurant, O-Town.
