Twelve chefs each cooked up 5 gallons of chili, then offered their culinary creations for judgment. Attendees tasted them, ranking samples as they went from chef’s table to chef’s table, and then voted for their favorite. At the same time, a panel of judges was also weighing in, and reached a separate decision. Sixty plus gallons of chili later, the winners were announced.
