We Have A New Sheriff

ll results now in. Chris Davis has narrowly defeated incumbent Sheriff Billy Sawyer. Republican incumbents ruled the day in other races, with Senator Norm Sanderson and Representative Michael Speciale both comfortably winning re-election. Ed Riggs is the new County Commissioner in District 3. Pamlico County results below:
