They began arriving in mid-afternoon Thursday. About 300 bicyclists — of the almost 700 expected — came to Oriental early so they could take part in Friday’s bike rides. If you go along South Avenue, you’ll seen an array of tents and bikes on the front lawns of several hospitable homeowners.
