Winners of the 2012 Oriental Dragon Boat Race, Open Division were the Miami Dragon Slayers. Shown here, some of the Dragon Slayers’ 20 crew members at the awards ceremony Saturday afternoon that was almost as windy as the conditions that limited the races to one heat. The Floridians came from the furthest away. Teams from Raleigh, Charlotte, Durham and Cherry Point also took part.
