The Duck Pond dragon returns to its home Sunday afternoon, with an assist to the pond’s center from Gary Gresko. The dragon has been out of the Duck Pond since losing its keel on Mother’s Day weekend. Gary gave it a heftier keel, replaced lots of glass “scales” and added more heron-preventer sticks to the dragon’s spine. Nonetheless, within 5 minutes of the dragon’s return, a small green heron alighted on its tail.
