The Hunter sailboat, Fevre, within a boat length or two of land off of Oriental’s waterfront Monday afternoon. The boat lost its main anchor a day earlier and then its motor system wouldn’t function. Two smaller anchors failed to hold the boat during Monday afternoon’s blow and it wound up in the shallow waters near the end of Wall Street. Deaton’s towed the boat to safety.
