This morning at 6am a sailboat left Whittaker Creek on a voyage. That isn’t so unusual… but this voyage is. The three person crew is from the Falkland Islands. They bought the boat here. From Whittaker Creek, their next stop is the Azores (about 2,700 miles) on a long voyage to the Falklands. Their story includes some bizarre “zero degrees of separation” Oriental coincidences (they seem to happen re Oriental a lot).
