For several years, Roland and Jennifer Pare have operated the Barking Dog Hot Dog stand at the parking lot of the Town-n-Country grocery store. Today, that run comes to an end. All proceeds from this last day of sales will go to Pamlico Animal Welfare Society. Barking Dog will be open from 10:30a-2:30p. (Laura Turgeon drawing)
