A visiting boat at Oriental’s Town Dock adds some of its own color to the water this holiday weekend. When Page and Jed Guertin got the Vector 39 a year ago, they made a departure from their previous boat’s traditional white paint and varnished wood and opted for Tarpon Blue. It’s an appropriate color for a boat named “Watercolor” (well, when it’s not sailing in the Co’Cola waters of the Neuse.) After the holiday weekend, “Watercolor” and crew are headed to the cooler waters of Lake Champlain for the summer.
