SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING

News & Comment About The Issues Facing Oriental.
The Oriental Planning Board meets on Tuesday night January 29th starting at 7pm at Town Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
The agenda for the meeting is below.
The town has hired a planner (part-time) to assist with some upcoming planning issues and there will be a discussion of some of them when the agenda reaches #5. Item #6 concerns proposed changes to the sign ordinance. Meanwhile, some CAMA Waterfront Access money is available, and the town will likely be applying for some of that grant money. What particular project Oriental should seek the money for is the subject coming up at the #10 slot on the agenda.
