Bernin' to the Beach - Oct 26Ride for Parkinson’s Research in the 9th Annual Bernin’ to the Beach, Saturday, Oct 26. This year’s theme is ‘Everything Fox’. All proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in support of a cure.
Registration is open now. Be one of 100 bicyclists riding 40 miles from New Bern to Atlantic Beach, raising funds to help find a cure. The ride is fully supported from start to finish, with 2 rest stops along the way, police escort, lots of snacks and hydration, lots of volunteers, and lunch on the pier at Doubletree Atlantic Beach.
Cyclists ride together at a 12mph pace. Win a prize for best decorated bike helmet while you’re at it.
Share your ride with friends and family. Can’t ride with the group? There is a virtual ride option for that. Tickets available for purchase for those needing a return ride (with their bike) to New Bern.
The KICK-OFF PARTY is Oct 25 at the Flying Fox in downtown New Bern, 5p-8p. Swag bag pick up, raffles, and live music.
