Registration is open for this summer’s Children’s Theater Workshop.

The Summer Theater Workshop is in it’s 27th year. It teaches children – from completed 1st through 12th grades – acting fundamentals and how to tell stories on stage using words, movement, and emotions.

Held in July at the Old Theater in Oriental, a carefully selected & experienced theater arts teacher leads grade divided, two week sessions. This year’s Drama Coach is Elin Waring from High Point. The schedule for this summer is:

• Completed 1st/2nd grades: July 3 to 14, 9a-noon
• Completed 3rd/4th grades: July 17 to 28, 9a-noon
• Completed 5th-7th grades: July 3 to 14, 2p-5p
• Completed 8th-12th grades: July 17 to 28, 2p-5p
