Chowder Cookoff Mar 16The Oriental Woman’s Club’s 2019 Chowder Cookoff is Saturday March 16 from 11a-1:00p. Now in its 12th year, the cookoff attracts about a dozen cooks – they pit their chowder against the others. Harbor Sounds will be there, providing musical accompaniment for the contest. $10 ticket gets you a chance to taste different kinds of chowders and vote for your fave to win the People’s Choice Award. A panel of judges picks the Judges’ Choice winner. It’s a fundraiser for OWC.
