Dragon's Breath Regatta June 2-4The Oriental Dinghy Club (ODC) presents the 2023 Dragon’s Breath Regatta June 2-4. This the club’s premiere event of the year. Race headquarters at Oriental Marina and Inn by the harbor. This Regatta is for sailing vessels 20’ and longer.
• Jib & Main Class
• Spinnaker Class
• Cruising Class (for the casual racer or those who are new to racing)
The cruising class race is Saturday. (It is a pursuit start and race around the government marks Garbacon and Adams Creek) with a finish at Oriental One. The race course is similar to what is used for Wednesday Night racing and the Instead of Football Race. It’s a good opportunity to experience racing first hand and improve your boat handling skills.
