The Old Theater presents Fogo No Trio, Saturday, August 3 at 7:30p.

Fogo no Trio is a Brazilian musical trio founded by North Carolina violinist / fiddler Andrew Finn Magill.

Magill grew up in Western North Carolina studying Irish, old-time, and bluegrass playing with dozens of the best fiddlers in the world. He is a Fulbright Fellow, a South Arts Emerging Traditional Artist, a North Carolina Arts Council Fellow, an All-Ireland Fiddle finalist, and a recording artist with Ropeadope Records.

In 2014, He moved to Brazil to study Brazilian choro music. He now tours with Fogo No Trio, who perform original acoustic music with violin, guitar, and Brazilian mandolin.

Tickets are $25 ($20 for Old Theater members, military, and students with ID) and may be purchased online here or at Nautical Wheelers at 411 Broad St. Tickets for sold-out shows may become available at the door last minute.
