Oriental History Museum presents Gone, But not Forgotten: The Changing Landscape of Oriental. Open now at the Oriental History Museum.
This special exhibit tells the story of the evolution of the town since its founding over 125 years ago.
Local homes, businesses, and scenery were lost over time. Causes ranged from natural disasters to fires in wooden structures, advances in technology, or simple neglect.
Yet those places and people are still fondly remembered today. Visit this special exhibit to see what Oriental once was like, “back in the day.”
The Oriental History Museum is at 802 Broad Street. Hours are: Friday 11-3 and Saturday 1-4. Admission is always free, donations gratefully accepted. For more information about the museum and this exhibit contact us: orientalhistorymuseum@gmail.com
