Lights, garlands, and a few moving parts. Oriental’s decorating contest for the Spirit of Christmas runs throughout December, but is judged Monday, Dec 5, 2022. This year, the Oriental Woman’s Club is in charge of the contest.

Winners will be announced at the Lighting of the Star, Friday night, Dec 9.

There are winners in six categories, for both businesses and residents:
• Nauti-est (most nautical)
• Griswold (best lights)
• Reason for the Season (best nativity)
• Most Inflated (best inflatables)
• Most Whimsical

There will also be awards for Best Overall:
• Most Beautiful Home
• Best Decorated Business
