Join Prime Time onAugust 24, from 11:30a to 12:45p for a talk with retired NC Highway Patrolman Chuck Coats, author of NC Highway Patrol Stories. A light lunch will be served.
Trooper Coats began his career in the Air Force in 1961, three days after his high school graduation. He has been a part of the Durham Police department and the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, giving him 50 years of Law Enforcement experience – and stories.
Coats gives a little history of the Highway Patrol in North Carolina and will go into a few stories from his book NC Highway Patrol Stories. The collection is serious and humorous.
Books will be available for purchase if interested. Cash or check accepted. $20
