Nat'l Weather Service Hurricane Forum - June 25The National Weather Service hosts a Hurricane Community Forum, Wed Jun 25, 6:30p at Oriental Town Hall.
Presented by the National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City, NC, the forum aims to teach residents more about hurricane preparedness while giving a chance to ask questions.
The outlook for the year will be reviewed, plus an explanation of why you shouldn’t focus on just the category of the storm, instead focus on ALL of the impacts with a storm. The forum will transition to a community discussion and you can ask any questions you have.
