OUMC River Service Celebrates 40 Years - May 26Oriental United Methodist Church celebrates 40 years of the morning Riverside Service, Sunday May 26, at 8:30a in Lou Mac Park. All are invited to attend.
The warm-weather tradition began with Rev. Gray Southern, who attended such a service while on vacation. In 1984, he brought it to OUMC. Rev. Southern will preside over the anniversary service.
Light refreshments will be served after the service. In case of rain, the service will move indoors to the OUMC sanctuary. Have questions? Contact OUMC at 252-249-0213.
