Spring Birding Classes Begin March 19

Spring Birding Classes Begin Tuesday, March 19.

Our county is coming alive with bird songs. Come out and learn about the warblers and other song birds passing through our state during spring migration—and the winter birds coming into breeding plumage before they leave us.

First class will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Pamlico Community College for a slide show, discussion of migration, birding optics and techniques with a short field trip afterwards. Subsequent classes will be held in the field with morning meeting times.

Classes are Tuesdays, March 19 – April 9. Class is limited and preregistration is required. $35.00 per person (4 classes). Instructor is Sheryl McNair. Contact Denise Meyerson, 252-249-1861, ext 3113 or dmeyerson@pamlicocc.edu
