Taming of the Shrew is live on stage Saturday, June 3 at 7p. Postponed due to potential rainy weather. New date TBD. Enjoy dinner and a show at The Red Rooster Pavilion.
Gates open at 5p. Arrive early to enjoy the medieval themed event. Walk the grounds and meet the strolling performers, peruse the vendor stalls, or try your hand at a game or two before dinner. Costumes are encouraged.
Seating in order of arrival, so come with your party. At 7p sharp, the Elysian Players take the stage, performing The Taming of the Shrew, Shakespeare’s comedy about love and marriage.
The Pamlico County Arts Council (PCAC) sponsors this event. PCAC member price for dinner, the show, and the entertainment before hand is $50. Non-member fee is $65. (If you bought tickets to the 2023 Dragon Burn, you are a PCAC member). Only 150 tickets available.
