Acoustic award-winning duo Ryanhood performs the Christmas program, “A Winter’s Evening” Friday, December 6 7:30p at the Old Theater in Oriental, presented by the Pamlico Musical Society.

Ryanhood got their first break as street-performers at Boston’s Quincy Market. They were spotted by a booking agent, and became part of the college touring scene. They’ve since gone on to perform thousands of shows. Ryan David Green and Cameron Hood perform an evening of songs and storytelling, a blend of original holiday compositions, wintry covers, and reworked classics.

The duo will also conduct an “Informance” – music, stories, Q&A – free and open to the public earlier the same day at 11:00a, hosted by Prime Time, at the Oriental United Methodist Church, 404 Freemason Street.
