The Old Theater is bringing Mark Twain back. Rumors of his reincarnation may be only slightly exaggerated. Actor and writer Bill Hand who played Twain in Oriental in recent years presents his newest one-man homage to the writer, Mark Twain: Boyhood on Tuesday September 19.

This one-night only program will include excerpts Hand has drawn from Twain’s autobiography, as well as Essays and Short Stories Covering the Subject of Boyhood. Curtain opens at 7:30p. Tickets $12, available at Nautical Wheelers, 411 Broad Street, Oriental and 202A Craven St., New Bern and at the Old Theater box office on performance night.
