All 2022 Dragon Patron slots filled – thank you.
New Years Eve in Oriental may be attended by thousands. But there is always one key star of the show – The Dragon:He waits all year for his big night. While he waits, he deserves appropriate accommodations for a Dragon of his social standing.
The Dragon has been housed in various sheds and barns over the years, sometimes suffering damage from the effects of weather over time. A few years ago he got a new home – his own 10 × 10 storage unit at Village Mini Storage on Broad Street. It keeps him dry and ready. It is funded through the generosity of folks like you, who become Patrons Of The Dragon.
The Dragon is hoping to keep his home. That storage unit costs $48 a month.
New Year’s Eve will see the Dragon Roll through the neighborhoods of Oriental beginning at 8p this year.
One of The Dragon’s challenges over its history has been finding a home for the rest of the year. That is being solved right now, and you can help.
Become A Dragon PatronThis is where you can help. The Dragon needs 22 “Patrons”. Patrons Of The Dragon, if you will. Each Dragon Patron pays $24 for a half month of storage. The Dragon doesn’t want any Patron to pay for more than $24 – no heroism needed. Just sponsor a half month. There isn’t any Dragon corporation or any Dragon bank account, and organizers like that simplicity. So to keep this simple, Patrons simply send a $24 check to Village Mini Storage.
To become a Dragon Patron, just email in your contact info to info@towndock.net, and then we will email back confirmation and instructions on where to mail your Patron check. Your name, or your business name, can be listed as a Dragon Patron.Thank you – all the Dragon Patron slots are full.Thank you – all the Dragon Patron slots are full.
