This 46 ft “Explorer” aluminum ketch was built in Holland in 2011, designed as an Arctic research vessel. It’s new owner purchased it in Holland, and sailed her across the Atlantic from Scotland this year. The vessel’s new hailing port is one that it doesn’t seem designed for – Wellington, Florida (near West Palm Beach.) The vessel and her solo crew stayed the night at the Oriental Marina Inn docks.
