The Deaton Yacht Service sign on Neuse Dr. Deaton’s has been a family owned business in Oriental since 1979. This July, Zimmerman Marine will assume operations at the boat yard. Zimmerman Marine is also a 40 year old business, based in the Chesapeake Bay. Zimmerman currently operates six mid-Atlantic boat yards – the Deaton’s facility will be the 7th.
