There are four (count ‘em, 4) potential storm systems on the Atlantic. The one likely to happen soon shouldn’t be an issue – it would form near the FL/GA/SC coasts – and then track northeast and out to sea. Any potential local effects would be from outer bands, assuming that track proves correct. More info in the Hurricane Center.
