Repairs / Rebuild has begun at the Lou Mac Park pier. The town has hired Bobby Cahoon Construction to get the pier fixed. It will look much like it did before when it’s completed… except the concrete “hog slats” will be new slats with smaller slots – so that bicycle and wheelchair wheels won’t be endangered. The pier is expected to completed by the end of May. (click image for the big pic and more views)
